Name your pain and set it free.

You’re a doer and a go-getter. You’ve got a full life. A lot going on. And you like it that way! You take care of your home, family, friends, your career, as well as a myriad of other important things. And sometimes you care for yourself. But you are resilient! You know how to power through the aches and pains. The stresses and hurdles. And to keep going.

But what if instead of *just* powering through, you could find some ease?

What if you could stop setting your stresses and discomforts aside, and instead, set them free? We are often better at taking care of what we can see — our bodies, our sickness, our appearance — than we are about caring for our energy - our thoughts,  our feelings, our emotions.

But did you know that those seeming “intangibles” are often the cause of a lot of our physical pains and imbalances?

We spend a lot of time and energy powering through and dealing with the repercussions or aftershocks of events in our lives when we could spend a fraction of that time addressing the root cause of our pain and finding relief! What if the root cause of these pains or hang ups was trapped emotions? What if past traumas (great or small) are still hanging around and impacting our day to day?

Perhaps, you feel like the methods of care you’ve chosen up until this point have
gotten you somewhere, but maybe they aren’t *quite* getting you to the place you
had hoped to be, where…

  • You don’t waste as much energy worrying about the things you can’t change.

  • Your expectations about reality and your current situation can be accepted as hopes for the future, and not just disappointment in the present.

  • You can breathe through those heavy moments of the day and not be completely overwhelmed by the weight of them.

  • You can be an observer of emotions and not necessarily the place where they all get to live! *Whew, that’s been a big one for me!*

  • You get more grounded and in tune with your body, so you can recognize when and where you’re holding tension and stress, worry or fear, and learn to let that s**t go!

That’s what my energetic healing approach hopes to help you achieve.

Based in The Emotion Code developed by Dr. Bradley Nelson nearly 30 years ago, this is a gentle and restorative process that uncovers trapped emotions we’ve been holding onto and releases those imbalances — allowing our bodies to realign and be restored to achieve wellness and peace.

More about Bethany…

“Allow myself to introduce…myself.” - Austin Powers

Hello! I’m Bethany and nothing makes me happier than helping others experience joy and light in ways that they may not be able to on their own.  You could say (and I’m sure my parents would say...bless their hearts) that I’ve always been in touch with my big feelings.

When I was about 11, my parents were introduced to a way of healing that focused on forgiveness for past hurts. Practicing this way of prayer and healing, I had major breakthroughs in my own life, even as a child. I continued this into adulthood and found that this practice often and completely allowed me to learn to forgive quickly.

Experiencing the freedom that came with letting those painful burdens go taught me that holding on to those things only hurts me and that it doesn’t punish anyone else.

As a result…

  • I worked through deep fears as well as hurt feelings.

  • I learned how to set boundaries when it came to relationships, and that ultimately, I was in charge of what I allowed to root down deep.

  • I could recognize and forgive and let go, or I could hold and fester and hurt.

I decided that forgiveness is a better way.

Years later, I was introduced to a new healing modality, The Emotion Code, and found it to be such a gentle and kind approach to letting go and flowed in a similar vein as the work I was already familiar with.

The major difference?

This work could also address our subconscious, allowing us to let go of things that we may not even realize are still lingering in our bodies and hearts.

And when I’m not focused on energy work…

You’ll find me expressing an inborn wild and free enthusiasm that is contagious! I am a pro-level cheerleader of seasons and skies and have been known to applaud a tree for changing its leaves’ colors when autumn strikes.  I’m a big believer in celebrating the little things, from a perfect watermelon to a beautiful sunset.  Not only do I want you to join my party when something good happens, but I want to be invited to yours as well!  I have worked with great care and intention to weave body, heart, and community together into a tapestry - beautiful and messy, sometimes chaotic, but the end results have been joy-filled and life-giving.

I consider it a privilege to be a trusted friend and confidant and aspire to live a life full of integrity and love — to elevate those that I get to share even a small part of my time with. I bring comfort to people through my presence and my touch and  have a deep desire to open my arms and heart wide to hug humanity and the world in a way that makes them feel like Goodness itself is holding them all together.

In short, I have always been a more feely, empathic person (I give incredible hugs, or so I’m told!) and I’m proud of it!

But I truly do know what it is to walk through life with a heaviness in your chest…

…or a feeling that things are “just not right.”  I also know what it’s like to feel those weights lift and to breathe deeply again.

I hold hope for goodness and light in the world, and would consider it a privilege to walk with you!

My Deep Gladness + The World’s Deep Need

In my life, I have been, and in some cases still am, an actor, a singer, a licensed massage therapist, as well as a number of other names and titles of which I don’t classify myself to necessarily be a professional. But, I feel that all of these roles that I have studied and taken on throughout my journey have led me towards becoming an Energy Care Advocate: I stand for the need to invite vulnerability and to nurture the deeper parts of oneself in order to experience freedom from whatever weighs us down.
